You answer a dozen quick questions about what you want from a season: snow or sun, how hard you want to work, what conditions matter, how far you'll travel, and what kind of community you're after. PeakWave scores each destination against your answers and returns the three strongest matches, with a percentage match score, a one-line reason why, and links to live conditions, a destination guide and current job listings.

Around 25 seasonal destinations across two season types: alpine ski resorts (France, Switzerland, Austria, Canada, Japan) and summer hotspots including resort destinations (Greek islands, Ibiza, Croatia, the Canary Islands) and yacht hubs (Antibes, Palma, Fort Lauderdale, the Caribbean). Each destination links through to a full PeakWave guide and any live job listings in that location. Festival recommendations have their own dedicated quiz.

Every destination has a profile of ten attributes: party scene, nature access, cost of living, earning potential, conditions quality, cultural depth, career development, UK accessibility, community feel and season length. Your answers tell us which of those matter most to you. We score the distance between your ideal and each destination's profile, weight it by how strongly you answered, and rank the top three. The scoring is deterministic: same answers give the same result.

Yes. Nothing is saved to your account unless you sign up and save a result, so you can retake the quiz as many times as you like and compare outcomes. Many people take it once for winter and again for summer.
