ORGANISED SPORT
Surfing reads the same coast differently
Razo is part of PeakWave's surfing catalogue.
The local record used here does not support a single founding date for the sport, so the exhibition treats its sporting identity as an accumulation of use, access and organisation.

THE LIVING MAP
The mapped place
Razo is recorded at 43.301° N, 8.630° W. A surf map fixes a name to one stretch of moving water, but the place changes with tide, swell direction, wind and the shape of the seabed.
