Position Remote Surf Coach (Part-Time) About ALORA: ALORA is a remote surf coaching platform built around personalized video feedback. Surfers upload clips from their sessions and receive clear, actionable breakdowns from real coaches focused on improving technique, positioning, and decision-making in the water. Role Overview As an ALORA coach, you will: Review submitted surf clips Record video breakdowns using screen recording + voiceover Draw and annotate directly on footage Provide clear, concise corrections Give surfers one actionable focus for their next session This is fully remote and asynchronous. What We’re Looking For We are looking for coaches who: Are ISA certified (preferred) Have a strong understanding of surf fundamentals Can communicate clearly and simply Know how to break down movement visually Are comfortable using screen recording tools Have basic computer and software knowledge Are reliable with turnaround times Ideal Background: Surf coach / instructor experience Surf school or camp experience Experience coaching intermediate surfers Competitive background (a plus) Tools & Workflow: Record screen + voiceover reviews Annotate clips directly while reviewing Upload completed reviews to the system No live calls required Compensation Flexible, performance-based compensation depending on workload and volume. Typical monthly earnings vary based on availability, with opportunities to scale as review volume increases.
